Your Choice Of Power With The Hyundai Kona.

The new Hyundai Kona gives customers choices. They may select either an internal combustion engine or a pure electric powertrain to motivate their Hyundai Kona. This way, you can build the new Kona your way!

Previously, it was common for an automaker to design the gas-powered vehicle first, following up with an electric-powered version later. With the new Kona, Hyundai designed the EV version first, then got busy with the gas-powered model. Once completed, Hyundai designed the Kona N Line and Limited to round out the lineup.

The Hyundai Kona Electric: 

 
The Kona Electric when equipped with a 64.8-kWh battery, will deliver up to 260 (estimated) miles of range. Designed with quick-charging architecture, it can replenish its electrons from 10 to 80 percent in around 45 minutes using 400V charging facilities. When equipped with the standard battery, buyers may expect a range of 197 miles.

Hyundai Kona Limited:

 
While the standard Kona is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder Atkinson-cycle engine making 147 horsepower, the Kona Limited receives an updated turbocharged 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine producing 190-hp. Both engines are matched to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Kona Limited can be ordered with standard front-wheel or available all-wheel drive.

Hyundai Kona N Line:

 
The Kona N Line includes the 1.6-liter turbocharged engine found in the Kona Limited, but the N Line takes it a bit further. Sport and enthusiast-oriented, it includes body-color cladding, N Line rear spoiler, 19-inch N Line alloy wheels, dual exhaust tips and sport seats. There's also a Bose audio system and aluminum sport pedals. An aggressive wing-shaped front and rear fascia define the enthusiast leanings of the N Line. Finally, the N Line model offers an aggressive, new lower stance.

What's Inside the Hyundai Kona

The living space inside accommodates a wide range customers and their lifestyles, and features a driver-centric dashboard. The Kona's new dashboard includes dual 12.3-inch screens reinforcing Kona's high-tech character.

The driver isn't the only one having fun. Front seats are 30 percent slimmer, providing more rear legroom. A two-stage latching system allows for rear-seat reclining. Behind the rear seat is 25.5 cubic feet of cargo space. Folding the second row forward reveals 63.7 cubic feet of total storage. Loading is easy thanks to the available Smart Power Tailgate for ease of cargo access.
