The all-new Hyundai Palisade cuts a wide, imposing figure on the road, with its large cascading grille that clearly places it in the middle of the premium SUV segment. The Palisade's bold grille includes available LED headlights, LED turn signals, and LED daylight running lights (DRL) that present a bold leading edge. The bold look continues down the side flanks, offering a clear window view for up to eight passengers in three rows. Up above, a panoramic sunroof visually "opens up" for an airy feeling inside the rear of the vehicle.

Sporting a wind-cheating profile, the new Hyundai Palisade
slices its way up the highway with a slippery drag coefficient of 0.33 Cd. With
an assist from a swept-back A-pillar / windshield combination, as well as internal
air guide, the Palisade's design manages to keep a smooth-flowing airstream
over the top. Underneath, the aerodynamically-smoothed underside panels and
rear wheel deflectors do their part to keep a free-flow of air underneath. As an added bonus, they also manage to keep highway
noise intrusion to a minimum.

Hyundai Palisade Interior
Inside, the new Hyundai Palisade has room for up to eight
passengers. A cocoon of serenity is ready to carry your family in
uncompromising comfort. Featuring a luxurious leather-appointed interior, you
can option your Palisade with premium quilted Nappa leather, accented by a
smooth wraparound woodgrain-trimmed instrument panel.
We found ample storage space in both the lower level console
and the under-elbow bin between the front seats. Speaking of front seats, they
are perfectly contoured for the long haul. The second row includes one-touch
easy-access seating to slide forward and out of the way for third row access.
The third row seats offer power fold and recline functions for those who enjoy
a nap in the "way back."
Hyundai Palisade Technology Features
Face it: everyone is connected today. That begs the
question: are there enough USB outlets? In fact, there's seven of them
throughout the cabin. Then, there's the infamous conversation mirror that truly
does give mom or dad eyes in the back of their head. The mirror allows the
driver to see the passengers they are talking to in the back and the way back (The
second and the third row). The new Hyundai Palisade also includes class-exclusive
Blind View Monitors to complement the standard Blind Spot Collision Avoidance
Assist. The system provides easy-to-see body side views with the use of your
turn signals.
The Hyundai Palisade's glass cockpit, from Napleton's River Oaks Hyundai, features a 12.3-inch fully digital TFT screen and a 10.25 inch touchscreen display. These help to control climate, audio, navigation and drive controls. The audio system can connect two Bluetooth devices; one for streaming audio, the other for telephone connectivity through its connectivity suite. Seven available USB ports will help to keep nearly all passengers occupied inside. But what if they're thirsty? The Palisade has you covered! How does 16 cupholders sound to you? That means each passenger gets space for a juice box AND a Super Big Gulp. Just be prepared for the inevitable stops that will occur after that. Oh, and did we tell you the Palisade is also loaded with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. If you are a real power user, there is an available Qi Wireless charging pad for compatible smartphones.
There are several in-car entertainment systems available,
but in order to really make your Palisade into a concert hall on wheels, may we

Clari-Fi restores audio recordings nuances that have been lost because of the
digital recording process. Take a listen, you'll be sold. And did we tell you
the Palisade can haul all your things too? Behind the third row, there is 18.0
cubic feet of storage space. Fold the third row forward and that area opens up
to 45.8 cubic feet.
Hyundai Palisade Power Train Performance
The new Hyundai Palisade derives its motivation from a 3.8-liter Atkinson-cycle V6 direct injection engine which offers power and efficiency in one cool package. Producing 291 horsepower at 6,000 rpm, and an estimated 262 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 rpm, it delivers its power to either the front-wheel-drive or HTRAC all-wheel-drive systems via Hyundai's eight-speed automatic transmission. As such, it can pull through any terrain it can find itself in. But don't worry: All that power won't make the Palisade squawk because Hyundai has done their homework to reduce vehicle Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) to a very low level.What's more, the Hyundai Palisade can tow up to 5,000 pounds with the available trailer brake package. Without trailer brakes, the towing limit drops to 1,500 pounds.
